08/08/2017 — The adversary of your soul wants you complacent in your faith — satisfied with what's always been, going through the motions and not experiencing growth in your relationship with God or His mighty power. We must refuse to stay the same! It's time to stir yourself up and adopt a posture of expectancy — it truly is the beginning of signs, miracles and wonders in your life!

EDUCATION

Daniel 12:3-4
“And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase” (MEV, emphasis added).

APPLICATION

• The local church is where we discover that our purpose is to serve others. It's where we connect to His body and discover the importance of living for others instead of for ourselves.
• We bring God pleasure by being strong in the power of His might. Every lack and want is met by the hand of His provision. Every sickness and weakness is healed by His power.
• The Church is where we intercede for the lost, calling their names before His throne. The Church is a place of prayer, not a den of thieves.
• Sow in a proper spirit. Give so that others may live. At WHC, we sow for the sake of the 576,000 people in our sphere of influence who do not yet know Him.

IMPARTATION Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the privilege of being Your child! I cannot love You and love people in my own strength. Order my steps that I may love You and Your people as I ought to love You and love them.

You are my Provider. Help me be more grateful for Your presence than for Your provision. Mold me into a living demonstration of Your love for them, and love them through me today and in the week ahead.
