And what happens in a worship service depends on what you do during the week. Press in toward the goal every day, communing with God through prayer and time in His Word, if you want to see revival in your home, your church and your community!

EDUCATION

Joshua 3:1-6

“In the morning Joshua got up early; then he and all the children of Israel set out from Shittim and came to the Jordan. They stayed there before crossing over. After three days the officers went through the camp. They commanded the people, 'When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God and the Levite priests carrying it, then you shall set out from where you are and go behind it. There must be a distance of two thousand cubits between you and it. Do not draw closer to it, in order that you may know the way you should go. For you have not passed this way before.'

"Joshua said to the people, 'Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will perform wondrous deeds among you.'

"Joshua said to the priests, 'Pick up the ark of the covenant, and proceed ahead of the people.” So they picked up the ark of the covenant and went in front of the people'” (MEV).

Haggai 2:6-9

“For thus says the LORD of Hosts: Once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and earth, the sea and dry land. And I will shake all the nations, and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of Hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is Mine, says the LORD of Hosts. The glory of this latter house will be greater than the former, says the LORD of Hosts. And in this place I will give peace, says the LORD of Hosts” (MEV, emphasis added).

APPLICATION

• Revival today depends on what God's people have already done. If we will be faithful to draw near to Him in prayer and in the Word, He will continue to bless us with revival.
• That matters for you and your family. But it also matters for the people you influence, who will be blessed as they get swept up in the revival your faithfulness helped to create.
• Revival allows you to cast a shadow into your future. And the brighter the Light to which you have aligned yourself with, and the closer you are to that light, the larger and more distinctive shadow you can cast!
• We are in the midst of what historians will record as a transforming revival. It's not hard to be a part of it; just align yourself with the light of God and determine that you will cast your shadow into your circles of influence!

IMPARTATION

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for placing me in the middle of a great revival! What a privilege it is to see You at work in my own life, in the life of my family and friends and in my community! Order my steps that I may keep the revival fires burning through my prayer life and my time in Your holy Word, the Bible.

I want my shadow to impact others for Your sake! Keep me close to You so I may maximize my impact on others' lives.
