What does your shadow tell others about what you are bringing them? If you are participating in the revival WHC is experiencing, and if you are pursuing God’s presence passionately, your shadow will foretell signs, wonders and miracles that will manifest in your circles of influence. Be intentional about cultivating personal and corporate revival, and watch God work around you!
EDUCATION
Acts 5:12-16
“Many signs and wonders were performed among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon’s Porch. No one else dared join them, but the people respected them. Believers were increasingly added to the Lord, crowds of both men and women, so that they even brought the sick out into the streets and placed them on beds and mats, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might touch some of them. Crowds also came out of the cities surrounding Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those who were afflicted by evil spirits, and they were all healed” (MEV).
Hebrews 10:1-4
“For the law is a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of those things. It could never by the same sacrifices, which they offer continually year after year, perfect those who draw near. Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshippers, once purified, would no longer be conscious of sins? But in those sacrifices there is an annual reminder of sins. For it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins” (MEV).
APPLICATION
- A shadow foretells what is coming. What does your shadow foretell about you? What are you bringing to the people in your circles of influence?
- If you are passionate about the things of God — continually in the Word and prayer, speaking about revival and about signs and wonders — then you will bring the things of God to others. If you are lukewarm, that spirit will accompany you.
- We are in revival at World Harvest Church, and that revival is spreading to churches across the nation and around the world, especially in City Harvest Network churches.
- Our responsibility as carriers of revival is to cast a shadow of love, joy, peace, patience and the other fruits of the Spirit wherever we go. That will create opportunities to share God's love and power with others who currently are far from Him.
IMPARTATION
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your presence among us at WHC, and in my own life! The spirit of revival is overwhelming among us, and I hunger for more of it. Work within me to maintain a spirit of revival in my own life. Stir in me a hunger for communicating with You in prayer and a passion for Your Word.
More than anything I desire to cast a shadow of revival wherever I go. Thank You for making me a part of Your plan for this community and my circles of influence. Thank You for making me an agent of revival.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ — Jehovah Joshua Messiah — I pray. Amen!
