07/31/2018 — God is preparing WHC and its members to be a congregation it’s never been before – one that calls attention to God by welcoming and communicating profound demonstrations of the Holy Spirit’s power.

Our Miracle, Healing and Victory Service on Wednesday, Aug. 8 (8.8.18) will bring an outpouring of Holy Ghost power to our community. Be sure to join us, invite others to come with you, and pray daily in tongues to prepare for what He will do in, to and through us!

EDUCATION

Isaiah 43:16-21

“Thus says the Lord,
   who makes a way in the sea
   and a path in the mighty waters,
who brings forth the chariot and horse,
   the army and the mighty men
(they shall lie down together, they shall not rise;
   they are extinguished, they are quenched like a wick):
Do not remember the former things
   nor consider the things of old.
See, I will do a new thing,
   now it shall spring forth; shall you not be aware of it?
I will even make a way in the wilderness,
   and rivers in the desert.
The beast of the field shall honor Me,
   the jackals and the owls,
because I give waters in the wilderness,
   and rivers in the desert,
to give drink to My people, My chosen ones.
This people I have formed for Myself;

Luke 24:13-35

“Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. They were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. While they communed and reasoned together, Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were kept from recognizing Him.

“He said to them, ‘What kind of communication are you sharing with one another while you are walking and are sad?’

“One of them, named Cleopas, answered Him, ‘Are You the only foreigner in Jerusalem who does not know what has happened there in these days?’

“He said to them, ‘What things?’

“They said to Him, ‘Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet, powerful in deed and word before God and all the people, and how our chief priests and rulers handed Him over to be sentenced to death and crucified Him. But we were hoping that it was He who was to redeem Israel. Moreover, today is the third day since these things happened. Even some women from among us, who arrived early at the tomb, surprised us. When they did not find His body, they returned saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that He was alive. Then some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said. But they did not see Him.’

“He said to them, ‘O fools! And slow of heart to believe what the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter His glory?’ And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.

“They drew near the village where they were traveling, and He seemed to be going farther. But they urged Him, saying, ‘Stay with us. For it is nearly evening and the day is far spent.’ So He went in to stay with them.

“As He sat at supper with them, He took the bread, blessed it and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized Him. And He vanished out of their sight. They said to each other, ‘Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked to us on the way and while He opened the Scriptures to us?’

“They rose up and returned to Jerusalem at once. And they found the eleven and those who were with them assembled together, saying, ‘The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!’ Then they reported what had happened on the way, and how He was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread” (MEV)

APPLICATION

• People are leaving evangelical churches by the millions each year because the show –great music, dazzling messages and progressive children’s programs –can’t mask the fact that God doesn’t move in those churches.
• True Pentecostals are the last bastion of hope for revival in America because we still believe and expect God to move in a mighty way in those churches, and He does!
• World Harvest Church is both experiencing revival and leading its demonstration on a national scale. People are seeing what God is doing here –and they are hungry for it, because they need more of Him in their lives and they have needs only He can meet.
• Our Aug. 8 Miracle, Healing and Victory service (8.8.18) is an opportunity for WHC to bring the hope only Jesus Christ can provide and the power of the Holy Ghost to bear on the lives of our friends, neighbors and family members. Join us in preparation for this set time by praying in the Holy Ghost for 30 minutes each day this week, promoting the service on your social media accounts and inviting those in your circles of influence to join us.

IMPARTATION

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for positioning me in this congregation, where Your Word is honored and obeyed and Your power is regularly demonstrated in the lives of men and women. I am in awe of the supernatural healings and deliverance I have seen here, and I ask You to do it again at our upcoming Miracle, Healing and Victory service on Aug. 8.

Make me an instrument of Your peace and Your power in this community. Work through me to bring those who need to experience You in a radical new way to this service. I am prepared to be someone I’ve never been before, so You can demonstrate Your power as never before through me and this congregation! Come quickly, Lord.
