03/09/2018 — Jesus is concerned with your finances and with your giving – that's why He taught about money more than any other subject. As we proceed through this Resurrection Seed season, pray about the seed you will sow and ask God to provide that seed. He is faithful! Focusing on God and His goodness through prayer, fasting and sowing seed gets God's attention. And this ministry has a great track record of experiencing the miracles its members have believed God for.

EDUCATION

Deuteronomy 8:10–20

“When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you. Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, and His judgments, and His statutes, which I am commanding you today. Otherwise, when you have eaten and are full and have built and occupied good houses, and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold multiply, and all that you have multiplies, then your heart will become proud and you will forget the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery, who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, where there were fiery serpents and scorpions and drought, where there was no water, who brought forth for you water out of the rock of flint, who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might prove you, to do good for you in the end. Otherwise, you may say in your heart, ’My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.‘ But you must remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to get wealth, so that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is today.

“If you ever forget the LORD your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, then I testify against you today that you will surely perish. Just like the nations which the LORD will destroy before you, so shall you perish because you would not be obedient to the voice of the LORD your God“ (MEV, emphasis added).

APPLICATION

• More than half of the parables Jesus taught had to do with money. So it’s more than appropriate for us to discuss in the context of faith today. The late Billy Graham was quoted as saying that your checkbook is a theological document because it will reveal who and what you worship.
• Jesus came to fulfill the law, and His emphasis on finances is evidence that we were not meant to live in poverty. Finances are not evil! In fact, it’s poverty that is a curse.
• Money is an important way God blesses us so that we can be a blessing to others. Believers could not fund the work of the Gospel, feed the hungry and clothe the naked, or work for social justice without the finances to do so. What He gives you monetarily is not meant to be kept exclusively for yourself!
• This Resurrection Seed season, ask God for seed to sow. He will provide it! And as you gather your seed, know that He is using you and your faithful action to establish His Kingdom in the earth.

IMPARTATION

Heavenly Father,

I am so grateful for Your Word, which promises that I have the means to become wealthy! Keep me mindful to remember You through prayer, fasting and obeying Your Word, so I may both receive all You have for me and be a blessing to those You put in my path.

Use me in my circles of influence to share Your love and remind others of Your goodness. Make me an instrument of Your peace, sowing love and wisdom wherever I go. Show me where my seed is, and I will be faithful to sow it during this season of miracles.
