02/20/2018 — This is a season of miracles! As we begin a new Resurrection Seed season, 40 days leading to Good Friday, we are expecting profound signs, wonders and miracles to bless all members of the WHC family, and the people they influence! Miracles are the product of a lifestyle of fasting and prayer. Individual and corporate fasts, and devotion to prayer, will create an atmosphere in your life where miracles can flourish. Devote yourself to prayer and fasting, and watch what God will do!

EDUCATION

Matthew 17:14–21

“When they came to the crowd, a man came to Him and knelt before Him, saying, ‘Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers terribly. He often falls into the fire and often into the water. I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not heal him.’

“Then Jesus answered, ‘O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.’ Jesus rebuked the demon, and he came out of him. And the child was healed instantly.

“Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, ‘Why could we not cast him out?’

“Jesus said to them, ‘Because of your unbelief. For truly I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. And nothing will be impossible for you. But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.’” (MEV).

APPLICATION

• Jesus was brought the situation of an epileptic boy, who could not be delivered despite the disciples’ prayers. He said “This kind,” meaning situations requiring a supernatural miracle, “do not come out but by prayer and fasting.”
• Do you have a “this kind” of situation in your life, or the life of someone you love? Then bring the power of prayer and fasting to bear on it! God honors His servants who devote themselves to communication with Him through prayer and denial of their fleshly desires through fasting.
• During the 40 days of Resurrection Seed season, we’ll devote ourselves to prayer and fasting, because many of us need God to work miracles in our situations. You may need a miracle yourself. You may need a miracle in your family. Someone in your circles of influence may need a miracle. Isn’t 40 days of prayer and fasting a worthwhile step to take to bring the power of God to bear on a situation?
• Join the WHC family in preparing to sow our Resurrection Seed offering on Good Friday by devoting this 40–day period to prayer and fasting.

IMPARTATION

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for this promised season of miracles! I trust You for the miracles I have been believing for – for myself, my family and my loved ones. I believe You are a God of Your Word and that a lifestyle of prayer and fasting will help me focus on You and activate my miracle!

Order my steps in the days and weeks ahead, that I may direct my thoughts and desires toward You, and deny myself the desires of my flesh for Your glory. You know my needs and my desires. Work supernaturally in my life to activate miracles that will glorify Your Name in my life and the lives of my loved ones.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ – Jehovah Joshua Messiah – I pray. Amen!
