06/06/2017 — God is called an "all–consuming fire" in Scripture, and manifests two properties of fire in your life. He obliterates and annihilates the works of the devil in your life, and He removes impurities from your life so you can have stability. He will deliver you from anyone or anything that hinders the manifestation of His purpose in your life!

EDUCATION

Ezekiel 37:1–6

“The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He carried me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, and He caused me to pass among them all around. And there were very many in the open valley. And they were very dry. He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

And I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”

Again He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you so that you live. And I will lay sinews upon you and will grow back flesh upon you and cover you with skin and put breath in you so that you live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord” (MEV).

Acts 2:1–4

"When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. There appeared to them tongues as of fire, being distributed and resting on each of them, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to speak" (MEV).

APPLICATION

• You are not a body. You are a spirit, you possess a soul and you live in a body. That's important, because your flesh is corrupt.
• God is fire. When we say "Lord, send the fire," what we're really saying is "Lord, come." And He obliterates what is not holy in you and purifies you, as a fire does. That means He is not merely a Healer – He is your Healing. He is not just your Provider – He is your provision. He is not only your Protector – He is your protection!
• There is a place in God where the enemy can no longer touch you. The flood of the enemy cannot drown you and his fire cannot consume you.
• Because of Pentecost we can get drunk with new wine, that you get so intoxicated with the HS that like an antiseptic, it takes out all the bacteria, all the sin, all the pain. I pray that you get drunk enough today because it’s just about closing time – the time of Jesus's return.

IMPARTATION

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for sending Your fire into my life, to annihilate any trace of the enemy's influence in my life and to purify me to be a more effective servant of Yours. Thank You for Pentecost, our reminder of the redemptive work of Your Holy Spirit.

Fill me and use me so I can be a beacon of Your hope and Your love to others in my sphere of influence. Let me be Your hands and feet where people need You most. Make me a safe space for the hurting and a model of Your grace for those who have stumbled.
