Message Description
We live in challenging times! But none of it has come as a surprise to God; He knows what you are experiencing, and it hasn't changed how He operates.
God longs to operate on your behalf. And that requires you to act in faith. Believe today that God is who He says He is, and that He will do what He said He will do. He is greater than a nation ripped at the seams by political divisions, and He is greater than a worldwide pandemic. He is Lord, and He works with you when you operate in faith!
Scriptures
Isaiah 55:8-13
For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
nor are your ways My ways,
says the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are My ways higher than your ways,
and My thoughts than your thoughts.
For as the rain comes down,
and the snow from heaven,
and do not return there
but water the earth
and make it bring forth and bud
that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
it shall not return to Me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
For you shall go out with joy,
and be led out with peace;
the mountains and the hills
shall break forth into singing before you,
and all the trees of the field
shall clap their hands.
Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree,
and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree;
and it shall be to the Lord for a memorial,
for an everlasting sign
that shall not be cut off”(MEV).
Mark 11:20-26
"In the morning, they passed by the fig tree that Jesus spoke to and it was completely withered from the roots up. Peter remembered and said to him, 'Teacher, look! That’s the fig tree you cursed. It’s now all shriveled up and dead.'
"Jesus replied, 'Let the faith of God be in you! Listen to the truth I speak to you: If someone says to this mountain with great faith and having no doubt, "Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea," and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done. This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—believe that you have received it and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, if you find that you carry something in your heart against another person, release him and forgive him so that your Father in heaven will also release you and forgive you of your faults. But if you will not release forgiveness, don’t expect your Father in heaven to release you from your misdeeds'” (TPT).
Key Points
-
God does not respond to your pain. What gets His attention is faith, and faith has a voice.
-
God does not control your future. Whatever you want your tomorrow to be, you create today. The Kingdom does not rest on destiny – the Kingdom rests on decisions. Make a decision!
-
You have the ability to direct divine activity. Tomorrow is not dependent on God alone. If you are a faith-filled believer, and a tither, you have the ability to influence God to act in according to His will on your behalf.
-
God forever surrendered His right to act independently in your life and He never took it back. "Then God said, 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.' So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them" (Genesis 1:26-27, MEV). God has not forgotten His Word; it is settled in heaven!
