Examine Yourself

Examine yourselves, seeing whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not know that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.
- 2 Corinthians 13:5

Is Christ truly the Lord of your life? Are you ready to accept and act upon His Word? Are you willing to invest the time and effort necessary to receive what God has for you? Will you acknowledge the source of your supply? Can you be trusted with what He places in your hands?

God's truth about abundance only comes alive in your life when you are ready to receive it. If you said "no" to any of these questions, you need to get serious with God. Seek Him in prayer for His life-changing power to come into your heart. Tell yourself the truth. Self-examination reveals area of your life that are still unconsecrated.

But if you have said "yes" to God and "no" to the world; if your heart is ready to receive and act on His Word; if you are ready to invest your time and energy to receive all He has for you; if you acknowledge Him as your true source and will be a worthy steward of all He gives--prepare to embark on a course of abundant life and blessing!
