Producing Ability

Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers righteousness on you.
- Hosea 10:12

Did you know your life is a seed and that you have the ability to produce fruit? God has given each of us the ability to produce spiritual fruit. Our harvest is determined by the seeds we sow.

What types of seeds have you been sowing—seeds of righteousness or seeds of deception? As believers, our seeds should be holy, pure, true, righteous, loving, kind, gentle, honest, peaceful and meek. Unfortunately, many have eaten from the fruit of deception and allowed their lives to produce seeds of wickedness, lies, rebellion and self-reliance.

Romans 7:6 says, “But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.”

If you desire to plant seeds of righteousness so you can reap the fruit of unfailing love, break up your unplowed ground, pull up the crops of the enemy and plant the seeds of God in your life through Holy Spirit. If you plant it, He will water it and bring forth an abundant harvest.
