The Prepared Place

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"
- John 14:3-5

Do you know the way into the presence of God and to the place Christ has prepared for you?

Many believe that the way into the “prepared things” of God is through spiritual activities or being busy for the Lord—but that’s not the answer. Thomas asked Jesus, “How can we know the way?”

Jesus’ answer was clear and concise: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). It is not through positions or activities. It is not through good sermons or memorized scriptures. It is only through a personal relationship with Christ; through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus.

There is only one route to the “prepared place” and that is through Christ Jesus—anything else will lead you to the outer court, the court gates or outside the city...but not into the presence of God. Do you know the way?
